My Inspiration

Of course my inspiration is drawn from Christ, but also by His people. And one of my inspirations is Courtney at Storing up Treasures. She has been SUCH an encouragement to me...as a homeschool mother, an adoption advocate, a mother of 10, transracial adoptive mommy, photographer, and a GENUINELY wonderful person at her core. She has encouraged every blog reader to store up Treasures (Investing in Orphan's lives) rather than storing up earthly goods. I mean seriously...Can anyone compare aquiring a material item to the gut-rolling laughter of an adopted child?

Courtney is a photographer, and has WONDERFUL photos that always convey raw positive emotion and her point of view as a mother of many and adoption advocate. She launched an Etsy site with some of her photographs. She and her hubby have fallen on hard times recently. She ALWAYS asks her blog readers to pitch in just a 5-spot when a family is raising money for adoption. She sent readers to us, complete strangers who helped US raise the money to adopt Rylan this past month.
